DIY EOS

Sorry for so many cap locks! But as you can tell, I’m going to show you how to make your own eos lip balm! It’s super simple and you probably have all these ingredients at home! Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

• 1 full eos lip balm, the lip balm cut off from the top
• 1 tsp of Coconut Oil
• 1 Crayon, without the paper wrapping and into three peices

Materials:

• eos lip balm container, cut the grate out using a knife or xacto knife
• Small pan or pot
• Heat-safe measuring cup or bowl
• Spoon to mix with

Start of by taking a knife and slicing the rest of your eos off of the container. Then, taking a sharp knife, find a small slit around the edge of the grate and pop it out. If you need help with this, there are several YouTube videos on how to do this.

Now that you have your three parts, washed, screw the grate onto the top and put the top part onto the bottom, ready for the lip balm.

Now to get started on the lip balm! Place the lip balm, coconut oil, and about one or two pieces of your broken crayon into the cup. Place on a pan with boiling water to create a double boiler. Stir until everything is melted.

Once melted, let it cool for a bit and then pour into operation part of the  eos container. Put the container I the fridge for an hour and let it harden! 

After an hour has passed, and the lip balm has hardened, it’s time to put them back together! Place the bottom onto the top, and match up the two flat parts. Squeeze them together until the container is fully closed and then open up and see your perfect eos!
