Bubble Bar!

Super sorry I haven’t been able to post anything in a while, I’ve just been really busy, but now I’m back and I’ll be posting way more! So recently I’ve been interested in bubble bars, but when I looked up a recipe, they included many ingredients that I didn’t have or didn’t know where to get. So I found a super simple recipe and it is super quick to make! This recipe is just like the flubber soap, except you want it to dry out!

Begin by mixing your cornstarch and shampoo together. You should end up with a liquidy mixture.

Then add cornstarch until you get a non-sticky slime, I had to add a bit less than two cups of cornstarch to get the right consistency.

Then you can now pick it up and kneed it with your hands. Then once it is done, place it flat on wax paper or plastic wrap. Then you can roll it up into one large log.

Now taking a sharp knife, cut small pieces, a couple centimetres long from your log. Leave them on the plastic wrap and leave for 2-3 days. You want it to dry up completely for best results.

Once dried, I did a tester with a cup of water. As you can see it really did work, low of bubbles formed and I only used half a bar! This recipe is so fun to make and it works as a great gift! Hope you enjoy!
